Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Live is down for many users |
MICROSOFT has confirmed that the Xbox Live services on Xbox One and Xbox 360 are down for many fans.
UPDATE ONE: New signing in issues has hit Xbox One users in the UK and North America, Microsoft has confirmed.
Writing on the official Xbox Live service status page, the tech giant revealed that fans were struggling to access key online features today.
"Hey Xbox members, are you having issues signing in to Xbox Live? We are aware of this and are working hard to get it resolved ASAP!" an official Microsoft statement reads.
"Thank you for being patient in the meantime. We’ll post another update when more information becomes available."
Problems first started being reported at around 9pm UK time and seem to confirm a major world outage for Xbox Live.
Earlier in the week saw similar issues hit fans on Xbox One and Xbox 360, although these proved short-lived.
One fan wrote: "First day I've had to have a little play see if it's decent and connection goes in first game, typical."
While another added: "Same here. It says I'm not connected to Xbox Live at all and I've had two achievements in the past 24 hours disappearing from my overall gamerscore."
Core Xbox services are currently offline |
