Micah Richards warns Aston Villa supporters that no club is 'too big' to get relegated
MICAH RICHARDS has warned Aston Villa supporters that no club is "too big" to get relegated.

Managerless Villa are rock-bottom having not won since the opening game of the season at Bournemouth. The 2-1 loss to Swansea last Saturday - their eighth defeat from 10 Premier League matches - saw the sacking of Tim Sherwood.
Caretaker Kevin MacDonald will lead the team at Tottenham on Monday although former Lyons boss Remi Garde is still heavily fancied to take over.

Richards, inset, who will miss the game, having been handed a misconduct charge by the FA following an incident in the tunnel at Villa Park on Saturday, says Newcastle's demise under Alan Shearer in 2009 is proof that big clubs can fall.
"I can't ever say we'll get relegated because that would be naïve because if you look at our points tally at the moment it says we are going down. So you've got to be realistic, Richards said.
"If people think that Aston Villa can never get relegated then they need to think again because I'm sure Newcastle thought that a couple of years ago, a massive club and they had to do it the hard way. We don't want that so we have to get this situation sorted now."
