Marc Wilmots claims he's doing Man City a favour by playing injury-risk Vincent Kompany
Vincent Kompany could face Israel after a month out injured
BELGIUM boss Marc Wilmots claims he is doing Manuel Pellegrini and Manchester City a favour by playing Vincent Kompany.

Before the international break Pellegrini warned Wilmots not to risk Kompany because he is recovering from a calf injury.
Wilmots however insists he is fit to face Israel tomorrow and believes he is helping City by giving the Blues skipper some valuable game time ahead of City's Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.
"I’ve not been in contact with Man City myself, but the club are kept up to date with developments," said Wilmots.
"I think it will be good for Man City if Kompany gets some match time."

Kompany and Belgium celebrate after securing qualification for Euro 2016
Belgium will become the world's best ranked team if they beat Israel and finish top of their Euro 2016 qualifying group and Wilmots claims he is not taking any risks with Kompany, who has been out for a month.
"Vincent Kompany has participated fully in training and without any problems," he added. "I expect that he will be ready for the match against Israel.
"He has worked hard in training and knows his own body well."
Pellegrini is powerless to stop Kompany playing and will hope the centre-half comes through the game after Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Aleksandar Kolarov already picked up injures during the international break.
