Manchester United rocked as star hospitalised with ruptured liver
Paddy McNair ruptured his liver and could be out for two weeks
PADDY McNAIR is set to spend a third night in a Helsinki hospital after rupturing his liver while on international duty.

The defender went down with the injury early in the first half of Northern Ireland's 1-1 draw with Finland, but finished the first 45 minutes before being removed from play.
While the rest of the squad returned in good spirits having sealed a place for Euro 2016 in France, McNair remained in hospital in the Finnish capital.

Paddy McNair is likely to be out for two weeks with the injury
, according to an Irish FA press officer.
However, the 20-year-old stayed one more night and remained with the Northern Ireland doctor as he underwent further tests.
He is now expected to return home today and will be back in action for the Red Devils following two week's rest.
United medical staff did not travel to Helsinki, it is understood, but will instead assess the player when he is back in the country.

There is not expected to be a further update from Old Trafford until manager Louis van Gaal addresses the media on Friday ahead of his side's Premier League game at Everton.
The 20-year-old has made just one appearance for United this season, but with Luke Shaw's long-term absence, he would have likely been on the bench for the trip to Goodison Park.
