Former Man Utd hero Robin van Persie can't save dismal Holland
Robin van Persie and Holland won't be involved at Euro 2016
HOLLAND completed the long slide from heroes to zeros as their campaign ended in disgrace.

The country who finished third at last year’s World Cup will not be going to Euro 2016 after a 3-2 defeat by 10-man Czech Republic in Amsterdam condemned them to fourth place in Group A.
It means the Oranje have failed to qualify for a major tournament for the first time since 2002.
And coach Danny Blind, who took over from Louis van Gaal after the World Cup, will do well to hang on to his job as the recriminations start to bite.
Goals from Pavel Kaderabek, Josef Sural and a Robin van Persie own-goal left Holland 3-0 down – even though the Czechs had Marek Suchy sent off after 43 minutes for hauling down Memphis Depay. A Dutch fightback with goals from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Van Persie – his 50th international goal – came too late.

Selcuk Inan’s last-gasp free-kick gave Turkey the victory they needed over Iceland to qualify as the best third-placed team.
Vincent Kompany, who has missed five Manchester City matches with a calf problem, played 57 minutes in Belgium’s 3-1 win over Israel.
