Manchester United legend taunts new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp
Hot dog anyone?
PETER SCHMEICHEL has taunted Jurgen Klopp after he promised a title within four years at Liverpool.

Klopp was unveiled as Brendan Rodgers' replacement at a press conference at Anfield this morning.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss has signed a three-year deal worth £21million.

But Manchester United legend Schmeichel was quick to warn Klopp after he promised a title within four years at Liverpool.

"If I sit here in four years, I am pretty confident we will have one title," the 48-year-old said.

And Schmeichel didn't waste any time in ramping up the pressure on his old club's rivals on Twitter.

"First mistake..?? Others have made the same promise! #It'sNotThatEasyMrKlopp," the Dane posted.

Klopp believes Liverpool are among the best clubs in the world and is glad to be back in management after a four-month sabbatical.

"I'm back in the race," he added. "It's the biggest honour I can imagine, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"I've been given the opportunity to help in this situation, but it's not so difficult as some people in this room think."
