CRISTIANO RONALDO has shot down the chance of returning to Manchester United after he reiterated his desire to retire at Real Madrid.
 
The Portuguese has been heavily linked with a , where he spent six years before his £80m move to Real, since the arrival of boss Louis van Gaal last year.
However, after winning a record fourth Golden Boot yesterday, the 30-year-old revealed he has no plans to leave the Bernabeu anytime soon.
Ronaldo told Marca: "My dream is to retire at Real Madrid. If you take care of yourself you can play until you are 40.
"I want to keep going for another five or six years. I feel good and useful in Madrid and I want to win here."
