MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly on standby for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils have been continually talked up with a move for the Portuguese superstar since he joined Real Madrid for a then world record fee of £80million in 2009.
United fans would love to see the prodigal son return to Old Trafford.
Recent reports have suggested Paris Saint-Germain are willing to shatter the world transfer record to complete a deal for Ronaldo.
They suggest they are keen to pay upwards of £109m for his signature.
But the Daily Mirror claim a fee of £90m could be enough to prise Ronaldo from the Bernabeu.
The report suggests that sources close to the player believe a figure of around £70m given his age, could see him depart.
