Louis van Gaal expecting a busy January transfer window

LOUIS VAN GAAL has confirmed he is in the market for new players in January.

 

Anthony Martial, Sergio Romero, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Memphis Depay all arrived at Old Trafford in the summer.

But Van Gaal is not willing to stop there as he looks to inject more pace and creativity into his side when the transfer window reopens.

The United boss insists all of his targets are keen on joining him at the Premier League giants.

Van Gaal told reporters: "I have already said, in the transfer period, I could not buy every player I want and that’s also because of the market.

"I have said that we need creative, speedy players in attack. You have seen which players I have bought; I like that profile, but we need more.

"I think that all the players I want do want to come. It is not a question of the players, it is a question of the clubs who are stopping them."
