JURGEN KLOPP says managing Liverpool is the biggest honour of his career.
The new Anfield boss was speaking at his first press conference since being unveiled as Brendan Rodgers' successor and insists he has taken one of the best jobs in world football.
"It's the biggest honour I can imagine to be here," he said. "It's one of the biggest clubs in the world.
"It's a good moment to come here and I feel very proud. It's how the people here live football. It's a special club."Klopp has already expressed his desire to install an attacking brand of football on Merseyside and is hoping to build a good relationship with the fans.Many felt alienated by Rodgers and the new appointment has generated a new-found optimism.

The German has told them not to expect miracles, though, previously insisting they should not expect huge changes for his first game in charge at Tottenham on October 17.However, those changes are already beginning to take shape.After being announced as manager, the club wasted no time in overhauling the back-room staff.Sean O'Driscoll and Gary McAllister have been relieved of their coaching duties, with Klopp bringing in former Borussia Dortmund Allies Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz to assist him.
