Jurgen Klopp set to arrive on Merseyside on Thursday to complete Liverpool deal
Jurgen Klopp is on the verge of becoming Liverpool's next manager, replacing Brendan Rodgers
LIVERPOOL expect Jurgen Klopp to arrive on Merseyside on Thursday as talks progressed over him becoming the club's new manager.

Klopp and his representatives held further discussions yesterday with Anfield chief executive Ian Ayre and Mike Gordon, president of owners Fenway Sports Group. Barring any late hitches he will be named as Brendan Rodgers' successor before the weekend.
Klopp is expected to sign a three-year deal worth in excess of the £3.6m he earned at former club Borussia Dortmund, and his imminent arrival has been hailed a coup for Liverpool with Germany legend Franz Beckenbauer claiming: "He is one of the best coaches I know in the whole world, and he was really a milestone for Borussia Dortmund.

"He took over the club and made them into a world-class team. If Liverpool has the chance to sign Jurgen Klopp then they should do it.
"Liverpool is also one of the biggest clubs in the world, so Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp is definitely a good combination."
