JURGEN KLOPP has given Liverpool permission to make a move for Porto midfielder Ruben Neves.
The 18-year-old, is a product of Porto's youth system and broke into the side last season under boss Julen Lopetegui when he was just 17.His performances have attracted interest from Chelsea, who were linked with a £29million bid.But the Daily Mirror claims the Reds have also been keeping an eye on the player and have made an informal approach. The report says, the deal could make Neves "the best-paid teenager in world football".The approach also suggests Klopp is happy for Liverpool to proceed with a move for the player despite being at the club for less than a week.Neves would adhere to Liverpool's transfer committee philosophy which aims to buy young players, develop them and potentially sell for high value.
