Jose Mourinho will stay as Chelsea boss despite embarrassing Southampton defeat
Jose Mourinho has been backed to turn Chelsea's season around
JOSE MOURINHO will not be sacked as Chelsea manager despite their poor start to the season, according to reports.

Mourinho's future at Stamford Bridge has come into question after the Blues have suffered four league defeats already this season.
And Southampton inflicted another embarrassing 3-1 loss on Chelsea at home yesterday.

Mourinho insists he will not walk away from the club and challenged owner Roman Abramovich to give him the boot.
"I want to make it clear: I do not run away," he said in a seven-and-a-half minute monologue after the game against Saints.

"If the club wants to sack me they have to sack me, because I am not running away from my responsibility for my team.
"There is no way I will resign. Chelsea can not have a better manager than me. There are many managers in the world at my level - but none better.

"There is no way I will run away. I have my professional ride and I know – I am good at my job."
However, despite Mourinho's uncertain future, the Daily Mail report the Blues boss survived a meeting with the Chelsea board last night and will remain at the helm, having been backed to turn their season around.
