'I wan't to win': Dutch star breaks silence on Manchester United transfer
Stefan de Vrij was a key part of Louis van Gaal's Holland team at the 2014 World Cup
LAZIO defender Stefan de Vrij has rubbished reports he is set to join Manchester United.

The Dutch defender has been persistently linked with a switch to Old Trafford because of connections with manager Louios van Gaal.
De Vrij was a key part of Van Gaal's Holland side that reached the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

However, the 23-year-old has denied reports that suggest the pair will link up again at club level, insisting he wants to stay and win trophies with the Serie A giants.
"My future? Frequently I'm linked to Manchester United because Louis Van Gaal is there. But I want to win at Lazio,” De Vrij told Il Messaggero.

United might have to look elsewhere as Van Gaal ponders how to strengthen his squad.
Despite starting the season well, reports suggest he is keen to add some new faces in the January transfer window.
Memphis Depay's early struggles could prompt a bid for Southampton forward Sadio Mane, while Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans is also understood to be on United's radar
