LEAKED images have revealed that the HTC One A9 looks exactly like an Apple iPhone.
HTC has already teased that it has one more "hero product" in the pipeline, ready for release later this year.
But a new image leak online might have ruined the firm's bug surprise.
A slew of photos posted on Twitter allegedly show the upcoming HTC One A9, which HTC is expected to announce at an event on 20th October.
The pictures – posted online by renown serial leaker @OnLeaks – give us a very good look at the upcoming Android smartphone.
The smartphone in the photos is a dummy unit, which will be used for display purposes in an AT&T store.
HTC appears to have taken some design cues from Apple, which previously took some design cues from the HTC One.
The One A9 appears to have a curved aluminium unibody design, broken only by the antenna lines, etched across the top and bottom of the device.
A raised camera lens and circular LED flash sits in the middle of the rear case.
The new HTC smartphone also features the same chamfered edges and circular volume holes which Apple debuted with the iPhone 5 design.
The leaked images also reveal a SIM and microSD card slot along the left-hand side of the device.
Unfortunately the front-facing BoomSound speakers appear to have disappeared from the latest HTC handset, replaced with a OnePlus 2-esque fingerprint button.
The exact specs of the new device are still unknown, but rumours suggest it will be posited as a mid-range device, with a price-tag to match.
