THERE really is an app for everything.
Smartphone apps have the ability to make some of life’s little challenges faster and more convenient.
Apps have revolutionised weekly shops, presenting an airline boarding pass, dating, booking a taxi and watching your favourite shows.
And now a smartphone app wants to help make organising a threesome as painless as possible.
It's called 3nder – pronounced Thrinder – a play on words aimed at popular, swipe-based dating app Tinder.
The iPhone dating app is designed to help people find others in their area who share the belief that three really is the magic number.
It uses a similar swipe-heavy user interface to Tinder to help users sort through their options.
The London-based startup says privacy is one of its biggest concerns |
If you get a mutual match, users can then send photos and an instant-message.
The app links to your Facebook account, but the creators are quick to emphasis the privacy aspects of the dating service.
"Privacy is top priority," it claims on the website.
"You can use an imaginary name and hide from Facebook friends."

The London-based tech start-up has already attracted a staggering £300,000 cash injection from anonymous investors.
Founder of 3nder, Dimo Trifonov told Tech City News: "Nowadays more people are looking for relationships that are designed with more freedom in mind.
"Consensual non-monogamy for singles and couples is becoming more prevalent, especially among young people.
"We are building the first safe environment for open minded people where they can meet likeminded partners, and the response has been fantastic.
"We are also gender-blind and orientation-blind, so everyone is welcome."
The technology firm is currently in talks to market and sell 3nder to other parts of the world.
