Destiny gets new Halloween nod as Festival of the Lost arrives with new map
Destiny featured on The Simpsons Halloween Special
DESTINY has new quests and content to explore on Xbox One and PS4, provided via the Festival of the Lost.

UPDATE ONE: Destiny received a big nod this week from one of Television's most well-known institutions.
The hit Bungie title got a sneaky reference in The Simpson's latest Treehouse of Horror Special, making light of the game's sometimes difficult weapons collection system.
The Halloween-themed episode aired yesterday and included a Destiny nod in the credits, which usually see funny changes made for the seasonal edition.
The show's casting associate Nick Conti snuck a Dark Below reference, changing his name to Nick "Necrochasm" Conti "still don't have it."
The exotic auto rifle is a hard weapon to collect, needing fans to find the Crux of Crota, an item only dropped when running the hard version of the Crota's End raid.
Conti commented on the Destiny reference on Twitter after Bungie's Eric Osborne spotted it.
"So glad my nod to Destiny made it's way to Bungie! Haven't faced Crota since 2.0 dropped, but I will be back for that Crux!
"I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain how great it is that Bungie caught this! Thanks for a great game!"

Destiny's new event is now live for Taken King owners
The Eververse Trading Company has new emotes in stock, the Boo - 300 Silver, Monster Dance - 500 Silver, and Zombie Dance - 700 Silver, although this last one is only available on Xbox One and PS4.
A new mystery bag can also be bought, called Treasures of the Lost, which will also be added to your inventory when you take on one of Bungie's new Halloween questlines.
Each bag will include a Legendary mask, with Bungie confirming more on the number in the game, telling fans: "Collect all 16 masks by completing quests for Eva Levante. Wear masks while defeating enemies or completing challenges to earn more rewards!
"Rare masks will last through the festival, while Legendary ones are permanent. Dismantle masks you don’t want to keep and trade in the scraps to Levante for a random Rare mask.
"Dismantle Legendary masks for Paper Glue drops that will upgrade a Rare mask to Legendary or open Treasures of the Lost bags (available at Eververse) for a chance to get Paper Glue."

Taken King players can try out a new Crucible Map
The questlines themselves require you to explore The Tower to collect Candy from random folks, apart from Eris who has something different, and eventually expands into other activities.
A new Crucible Map has also been added, with Bungie explaining its backstory: "Lord Shaxx's Redjacks have entered the Dreadnaught, clearing a path to the area known as the Cathedral of Dusk.
"The Warlocks believe this vile site was a tomb, a place Oryx never thought the Light would touch. But now the Light is here, and Shaxx has claimed the Cathedral of Dusk as a new space to prepare for war.
"The Cathedral of Dusk will remain in the rotation after the Festival ends for owners of Destiny: The Taken King."
The Halloween event is live and will end November 9, with some options available to those fans who have yet to buy The Taken King expansion.
Bungie have confirmed that certain items and gear will no longer be available after the event has ended.
