Pedro pushed through a move to Chelsea back in August |
Pedro, 28, joined the Blues from Barca in a £21.4million deal this summer.
The Spain international had negotiated a reduction in the value of his release clause from over £100m in order to push through the switch.
Yet just three months into his career in London and reports are emerging that he may be seeking a way out.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the winger is open to leaving the club if Chelsea decide to sell up.
The defending Premier League champions have got off to a disastrous start to the season and currently languish 15th in the table after losing five of their 10 top-flight games.
Manager Jose Mourinho is under mounting pressure to get results, with former bosses Guus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti thought to be interested in the Portuguese’s job.
But a return to the Nou Camp for Pedro is not on the cards, as the player specifically left Barca in order to gain regular football, the report claims.
And although he will not likely push for a January transfer, the decision may be out of his hands.
For Chelsea demonstrated how swiftly they can cut a player from the squad when Juan Cuadrado, a £26.8m January signing from Fiorentina, was loaned back to Italy after six months in west London.
Colombian Cuadrado started just four games for the Blues and is expected to eventually sign a permanent deal at current side Juventus.
