ALEX TEIXEIRA says he would welcome a move to the Premier League.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Shakhtar Donetsk striker in January with Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his attacking options.
The Portuguese boss has experimented with Diego Costa and Loic Remy this season with Radamel Falcao struggling to get in the starting XI.
Teixeira has 16 goals in 11 games in the Ukrainian Premier League this season that sees Shakhtar at the top of the table.
And after attracting interest from the Blues, the 25-year-old could link up with fellow Brazil stars Oscar, Willian and Ramires.
"I'm glad to hear a club as big as Chelsea is interested on me," he told GloboEsporte.com
