Bobby Zamora nets first goal in over 12 years for Brighton as they beat Leeds
Bobby Zamora was on target for the Championship leaders
BOBBY ZAMORA says Brighton can hold on to top place in the Championship after scoring his first goal for the Seagulls in almost 12½ years as they beat Leeds 2-1.

It was his first Brighton goal since May 4, 2003, and Zamora, right, said: “It’s a lovely time to score although the injury time seemed like it went on for ever.”
Now he wants them to extend their unbeaten run – the only one in English professional football – starting with Bristol City tomorrow.

Uwe Rosler managed to take the positives out of the defeat
“We want to hang on to that record as long as we can,” he said. “It’s nice to be at the top and we deserve to be there. We are going to keep working hard and hopefully stay there all year.”
Leeds manager Uwe Rosler looked at the positives even though defeat was hard to take. “They train very hard, there is a good spirit around the camp and they are very willing,” he said.
