ARSENE WEGNER says Louis van Gaal's experience has helped lift Manchester United to the top of the Premier League.
The Red Devils face Wenger's Arsenal side at the Emirates on Sunday (4pm) as they sit one point above second-place Manchester City.
Arsenal could leapfrog both teams if results go their way this weekend.
And Wenger says the title race is not yet been crafted.
“The experience Van Gaal has in his career, it is no surprise Manchester United are doing well,” he said.
“At the moment it is tight and difficult to say who will dominate the championship. You can't come to a conclusion yet.”
Arsenal head into the fixture off the back of three defeats in five games.
They went down 3-2 to Olympiakos in midweek and, when asked who was at fault for the defeat, Wenger replied: “I’m accountable on the results of my team."
