Jese Rodriguez is reported to be interesting a whole host of Europe's top clubs |
ARSENAL have been alerted to the availability of Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez, according to reports.
The Spain star's future has come under the microscope due to a lack of playing time at the Bernabeu.
Reports emerged yesterday claiming former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was keen to take him to Inter Milan in January.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move and were understood to be lining up a bid of £15million in the summer.
However, talkSPORT claim the Gunners are now also interested after the 22-year-old's agent, Gines Carvajal, confirmed that his client was unsettled.
"He needs to play more, that's the best way to keep his spirits up," he told Spanish newspaper Marca.
"The club will have to make a decision. He's training well, he's strong and has to seize the opportunity when it comes."
Jese is behind Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid |
Jese remains firmly behind the preferred front three of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the pecking order.
Despite that, it is claimed Real president Florentino Perez is keen to keep one of the most highly-rated youngsters to come through the youth ranks in years.
Perez might be open to a loan deal or a transfer with a clause to buy him back in the future.
They have a similar deal with Juventus for Alvaro Morata and Mancini is reported to be open to doing the same if he can pull of a coup by attracting him to Italy.
