Agent makes shock statement regarding Felipe Anderson's "agreed" move to Manchester United

Felipe Anderson has been regularly linked with Manchester United

THE representatives of Lazio star Felipe Anderson have spoken out after the player had reportedly agreed a deal to join Manchester United.

 

The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window but a move failed to materialise.

But recent reports in Italy claimed the Brazilian had agreed a deal with United.

However, the agency Base Soccer, who represent Anderson have released a statement to ESPN FC dismissing reports of a deal.

The statement said: "Contrary to reports, Felipe Anderson has not agreed a deal to leave Lazio and join anyone else.

 

"Felipe is doing well at Lazio and is only focused on doing his best for them."

Anderson has scored five goals and grabbed one assist this season following his breakthrough campaign in Serie A last year, when he helped Lazio qualify of the Champions League.
