Martin Montoya is yet to make his competitive debut for Inter Milan |
BARCELONA'S Martin Montoya will not cut his loan deal short at Inter Milan, according to his agent.
The Spaniard joined Inter in the summer on a two-year loan deal, but is yet to make his competitive debut for the Serie A club.
The 24-year-old's lack of game time has led to speculation that he'll return to parent club Barca in January in an effort to find first-team football elsewhere.
Arsenal and Liverpool, who both wanted Montoya in the off season, were reportedly keen to renew their interest in the winter window.
But his agent, Juan De Dios Carrasco, told FCInterNews: “I’ve read and heard about this alleged possibility, but there’s absolutely no truth in it.

“He’s very calm, and he’s happy to wear the Nerazzurri shirt. He’ll wait to prove himself when Mancini gives him an opportunity on the pitch.”
