Violet and Reggie Kray |
IS LEGEND WRONG about the Krays? The Tom Hardy biopic is out now but a shocking new documentary, Krays - Kill Order, features eyewitness who say that BOTH twins were bisexual and that their mother, Violet, was involved in the tragic death of Frances Shea.
What is the truth behind the legend?
As the Krays biopic Legend hits the big screen, the new documentary Krays - Kill Order, actually speaks to key players in the crime twins' world and reveals shocking new truths.
"It was a mixture of fear and respect – and if we hurt or killed one another, so what?"
These words from 'Mad' Frankie Fraser in his last-ever interview sum up the terrifying world of the Krays.
The deadly duo would have been killed by their own gang, The Firm, if they hadn't been arrested, says their former enforcer, Freddie Foreman.
"They took the East End to Knightsbridge. But of course they burned the place like they burned everything," he says.
"I thought they should be ironed out, to be honest.
"They was dangerous to everybody. If they hadn't've been arrested when they were, that's what would have happened."
As Tom Hardy hits the big screen playing both Kray twins in Legend, this new documentary unearths the facts behind the fiction.
Flanagan says that Ronnie hated how obsessed Frances has been with Reggie since she was a young girl and Ronnie's uncontrollable violent temper was well know.
"Ronnie Kray was a sick, manic depressive all rolled into one," says criminal consigliere Toby Von Judge.
In fact, Ronnie has long been suspected of staging Frances' murder to make it look like a suicide.
