Victor Valdes reportedly has no way back at Manchester United |
MANCHESTER UNITED outcast Victor Valdes has no chance of a reprieve at Old Trafford, according to reports.
Despite being named in Louis van Gaal’s Premier League squad this week, Manchester Evening News claim Valdes does not have a future at Old Trafford.
MEN report that Van Gaal only included the 33-year-old to conform to Premier League rules.
The former Barcelona man has not been handed a squad number for the season neither has he been included in United’s Champions League list submitted to UEFA.
Valdes signed a 18-month contract in January after using the clubs facilities to recover from a knee injury.
However, his future at United came into doubt after he was excluded from their pre-season tour of the USA.
According to Dutchman Van Gaal, Valdes refused to play for the Under-21s resulting in him being snubbed from first-team action.
