Jordan Henderson was spotted in Carragher's bar in New York |
LIVERPOOL captain Jordan Henderson was snapped in a New York bar during his trip to the USA to undergo treatment.
Henderson visited "Carragher's Bar" which is dedicated to Reds legend Jamie Carragher.
He is in the States with club doctor Andy Massey and will consult with an orthopaedic specialist in New Jersey.
However, his injury has not stopped the 25-year-old from taking in some of the sights and he looked to be in good spirits as he posed alongside a barman.
Liverpool appear to be in dire need of their skipper's influence after capitulating to a 3-1 loss to bitter rivals Manchester United on Saturday.
Henderson has been absent since he was brought off in the 1-0 victory over Bournemouth last month and missed the draw with Arsenal bfore back-to-back defeats to West Ham and United.
He is planning to undergo treatment on the heel injury which has ruled him out of those crucial clashes, but an exact return-date is not yet known.
Also on the sidelines is striker Daniel Sturridge and midfielder Adam Lallana.
Lallana should be fit for Thursday's Europa League game with Bordeaux, while Sturridge is rated as 50/50 to make a long-awaited return to action.
Bordeaux v Liverpool gets underway at 6pm at the Nouveau Stade on Thursday September 17.
