Sony’s PlayStation 4 set to smash Microsoft's Xbox One by 20m sales
Sony's PlayStation 4 system is set to continue its dominance over Microsoft's Xbox One
SONY's PlayStation 4 is set to smash Microsoft's rival Xbox One console by over 20m in sales, according to new analyst predictions.

It was revealed earlier this month by the NPD group that the PlayStation 4 had continued on its upward trajectory by claiming the best-selling system top spot during August 2015.
A statement from Sony failed to reveal the stats but confirmed that the new-gen console had been the top system for software sales in North America last month, with Madden 16 the top-selling title.
Microsoft's Xbox One, meanwhile, was reported to have seen increases of 26 percent in terms of hardware sales when compared with the same period in 2014.
It follows a similar trend lasting from April 2015, when the Xbox One claimed the number one spot, with the PS4 dominating the chart since release back in November 2013.
And while the overall sales of current-gen consoles are predicted to fall short of earlier systems, they will feature the PS4 at the top, according to industry analyst Michael Pachter.

The PlayStation 4 has seen strong sales since November 2013
Pachter is reported as telling the DICE Europe audience that the PS4 is heading for around 120m to 130m units sold in its lifetime, while the Xbox One will fall short of that milestone, reaching around 100m to 110m in comparison.
Nintendo's Wii U, meanwhile, will reportedly reach just 20m units.
"The console installed base is as big as it's ever going to get," Pachter is quoted by Game Industry.
"[This] generation is not going to be bigger than the last generation. We're going to be about the same.
"The Wii U is going to sell 20 million units compared to 100 million for the Wii.
"The PlayStation 4 is going to sell 120 million or 130 million - that's great. The Xbox One will sell 100 million to 110 million - that's great.
"Add it all together and it's 260 million units, maybe, and the last cycle was 270 million."

The PS4 could end up with units sold at around 120m, according to industry analyst
Pachter also made claims about future console lifecyles being connected with the rise of easily accessed hardware like the Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV.
"This is the last real console cycle," Pachter added. "I don't mean that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo will go bankrupt and shut down - they will not.
"Each of them will make another console, some people will buy them, and the next console cycle will be to this console cycle what the 3DS is to the DS. The 3DS is selling about 15 million units a year, the DS had five consecutive years where it sold more than 26 million. So about half as big.
"So when I say that this console cycle is the last console cycle, the reason is that console games shouldn't require a console. And I'm not talking about the cloud.
"You're going to have a CPU/GPU in your house that is connected to your television.
"What happens when you lower the entry so nobody has to buy a console?"
