Pedro believes he was right to turn down Manchester United |
PEDRO has admitted signing for Chelsea was a 'good decision' and believes he is settling into the Premier League quickly.
The former Barcelona man moved to Stamford Bridge in a shock move this summer, with many expecting the winger to join United.
The Red Devils' chief executive Ed Woodward had flown to Spain to discuss terms for the player before Chelsea swooped.
And Pedro believes joining the south-west London club was the right choice, and his relationship with Jose Mourinho has since blossomed.
He told Spanish newspaper Marca: "I think I made a good decision with Chelsea. The welcome I've had from everyone has been great from the start. That has made it easy for me to adapt quickly and well.
"Although it might sound strange to some people, Mourinho is very different in person. He treats you like one of his family. He really cares about you, values you and how much he asks of his players."
This is in stark contrast to United, where the 28-year-old thinks things are not moving in a positive direction and signing for the club was not an attractive prospect.
He added: "I saw that things weren't progressing with Man United. It was taking time and I needed to get started with a team. Chelsea were the most determined."
