OLYMPIACOS will aim to cut down on mistakes and stop Arsenal's expansive game when they face the Gunners in the Champions League this week, insists midfielder Pajtim Kasami.
The Greek champions head to the Emirates Stadium for a crunch Group F fixture after both sides lost their opening games.
Arsenal went down 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb, while Olympiacos lost 3-0 at home to group leaders Bayern Munich.
And Kasami, who scored his first goal of the season in last weekend's 5-1 domestic demolition of Ioannina, stressed the importance of tomorrow's clash.
"Our organisation is different in the UEFA Champions League, facing one of the best teams in England," the Switzerland international told the club's official website.
"We must concentrate our play and defend well, to have confidence and to avoid mistakes, because whoever makes mistakes loses."
Attacking midfielder Dimitris Kolovos, who made his first appearance of the season for the Greek club last weekend, added: "We play a very difficult game against Arsenal, who are a very good team.
"This win (against Ioannina) gives us a boost and I believe we can do well in the game in England and get something good."
Arsenal lost 2-1 in Zagreb earlier this month |
Since their loss to Bayern Munich, Olympiacos have won two games on the bounce to an 8-2 aggregate scoreline.
Arsenal, meanwhile, lost to Chelsea after their performance in Zagreb but have come back to record victories over Tottenham in the League Cup and Leicester in the Premier League over the past week.
