MICHAEL CARRICK was one of four absentees as Manchester United trained ahead of tomorrow's Champions League game with Wolfsburg.
The England midfielder started the win over Sunderland, but did not feature in the session at Carrington.
Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia were also missing.
Valencia started the victory at the weekend, Herrera was an unused substitute and Rojo has a hamstring injury.
Youngsters James Weir, Donald Love and Josh Harrop were drafted in to train with the first team.
United lost their opening game to PSV Eindhoven a fortnight ago when long-term absentee Luke Shaw broke his leg.
Louis van Gaal's side go into the showdown with the Bundesliga side boosted by currently sitting at the top of the Premier League.
