Cristiano Ronaldo's has now scored 501 career goals |
CRISTIANO RONALDO described his latest record breaking antics as "not bad".
The Real Madrid striker took his tally to 501 career goals in Wednesday's 2-0 Champions League win over Malmo as the former Manchester United star scored both goals.
The 30-year-old scored in both halves to move level with legendary Spanish striker Raul on 323 goals.
Raul reached that ludicrous landmark in 741 appearances while Ronaldo has managed it in just 308.
And speaking after Real's win - which left the Spanish giants top of Group A - the Portugal international remained humble about his incredible stats.
"501 goals? It's not bad, eh! It is a great achievement," he said.
"I am so happy and so proud to beat this record. I am delighted to do it and make Real Madrid history. That was not something I thought of doing when I arrived.
