Andreas Pereira expects first-team football this season
MANCHESTER UNTIED youngster Andreas Pereira is confident he'll be handed a chance in the first-team this season.
The 19-year-old midfielder impressed during the pre-season tour of the United States, but is yet to feature competitively in Louis van Gaal's side this term.
And Pereira, who was linked with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain, admits he's ready to wait for his chance in the starting XI after having a chat with the Red Devils boss.
"I want to have a few minutes of playing time this year to show everyone that I am a good player," he told Goal.com. "I think this is normal."We have the best players in the world so I just have to be patient. I will have my chance this year. I spoke with the manager, so everything is going well for me at the moment."For me, Manchester United is the biggest club. I came here to play with the first team and win trophies."With Manchester United I want to win. I therefore do not pay attention to what happens in other clubs, I'm totally focused on Manchester United."
