Man Utd star claims nothing is beyond his team as club target Champions League success
Chris Smalling insists nothing is out of reach for Manchester United this season
CHRIS SMALLING insists there is no telling how far this Manchester United side can go after their storming start to the season.

United went top of the Premier League for the first time in two years after beating Sunderland on Saturday and welcome Wolfsburg to Old Trafford in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Smalling, 25, says he is happy to see a vast improvement as Louis van Gaal's side found themselves eight points behind eventual champions Chelsea at this point last term.
He thinks consistency is now the key but is refusing to rule out anything and thinks the side are now capable of challenging on all fronts.

“We have improved. Last season’s start was disastrous and it didn’t give us a foothold to be able to challenge for anything,” the United star said.
“We know that we have improved in this section of the season, and we now have to improve in each other section compared to last season and aim a lot higher.

“Our aim is to be competitive in all of the competitions and to make sure that we finish higher in the Premier League than we did last season.
"If we keep this consistent run from the start, and can maintain that all the way through, then I don’t think anything is out of reach.
“If you show that consistency then you will always be there or thereabouts. If you’re near the top by Christmas, you then want a strong finish and a bit of luck on your side as well.”
