Man Utd in meltdown before Liverpool as unhappy stars confront Van Gaal over tactics
Louis van Gaal is reported to have upset some senior players at Manchester United
MANCHESTER UNITED could be heading for crisis after a host of stars confronted manager Louis van Gaal over his training methods, according to reports.

Van Gaal has history when it comes to falling out with people for his hardline tactics.
The Dutch boss is famed for his gruelling training sessions and hardline approach to discipline, with numerous players reported to have felt his wrath in the past.

He effectively sacked goalkeeper Victor Valdes earlier in the summer and fined Marcos Rojo for missing the pre-season trip to the United States.
And The Times claim he is on yet another collision course after a group of senior United figures approached him to express their concerns at the way he is running the club.

It is understood to have occurred weeks ago after a heated exchange in the dressing room.
The players are said to be exasperated by a "lack of creativity and flexibility" in training, which they believe is hampering their performances.
United have made a decent enough start to the season and are currently fifth in the Premier League table.

However, just three goals in their opening four games has raised a few eyebrows, while his transfer policy has also come in for scrutiny.
The decision to loan out Adnan Januzaj and sell Javier Hernandez has been questioned along with the £36million signing of Anthony Martial.
They have a chance to put things right on the pitch on Saturday, however, as they welcome rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford (12.45pm kick-off).
