LIVERPOOL have a new look after a big summer window.

Brendan Rodgers has had to deal with the massive exits of Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling… and Mario Balotelli.

The bulk of business was done nice and early with the £32.5million capture of Christian Benteke the highlight.
A tidy free purchase of James Milner and then signing of Nathaniel Clyne has boosted the squad.
While exciting deals for Roberto Firmino and Joe Gomez could point to a positive future.
The Ulsterman has also shredded a lot of dead wood.

As close to a guarantee as you can get. Milner's move helps Liverpool recover from the loss of Gerrard.
He has already been named vice-captain to help Jordan Henderson.

Being able to move Balotelli on was also huge - some how AC Milan have taken another gamble on him.
Biggest gamble: Christian Benteke, £32.5m
Benteke's scoring record would suggest it will work, however the Belgium striker forces Rodgers to change his philosophy.
After the way last season finished, he has to succeed or Rodgers will face the chop.
