Adam Lallana is back for Liverpool after missing the last few weeks |
ADAM LALLANA has given Brendan Rodgers an injury boost by declaring his fitness ahead of their Europa League clash against Bordeaux.
The England attacker has been missing since playing against former club Bournemouth last month but he has been included in the squad for the match tomorrow and is likely to start in a team which will have wholesale changes.
Christian Benteke, James Milner, Nathaniel Clyne, Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren and Lucas Leiva have all been left in Liverpool by Rodgers.
However, Lallana is fit and raring to go.
"I am fully fit now," said Lallana.
"I was back in training on Friday and I am ready for tomorrow night.
"It was disappointing to have another setback but you have to deal with these things as a player.
"The Europa League is a huge competition for us. I have never played in it before. It’s a great chance to get back in the Champions League."
