Asmir Begovic 6: Difficult to asses as he had nothing to do. Made one easy save.
Cesar Azpilicueta 7: Moved to right-back in place of Branislav Ivanovic and looked comfortable against a weak attack.
Kurt Zouma 6: Strong in the tackle at the heart of defence.
 
Gary Cahill 7: Responded well to criticism after Everton display.
Baba Rahamn 7: An encouraging debut and was a constant threat going forward.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek 8: Replaced Matic as the anchor in midfield and Jose Mourinho now has a selection headache after a solid display. Replaced by Bertrand Traore late in second half.

Eden Hazard ballooned a penalty over the bar in the sixth minute
Cesc Fabregas 8: Scored one and set another up as he bossed proceedings from midfield.
Oscar 7: Showed Eden Hazard how to score from the penalty spot. Brought off for Ramires.
Willian 7: Scored a lucky opener and was replaced because of injury by Diego Costa in first half.
 
Eden Hazard 6: Looks a shadow of his former self and ballooned a penalty over the crossbar.
Loic Remy 7: Won the penalty that Hazard missed and showed good pace.
Best from the bench:
Diego Costa 9: Replaced the injured Willian and caused all sorts of problems before scoring a sublime volleyed third.
