Divock Origi has made a stuttering start to his Liverpool career |
DIVOCK ORIGI could be set for a loan move in January after an unconvincing start to his Liverpool career.
The Belgian signed a five-year-deal from French side Lille in July 2014 after impressing during the World Cup.
He spent last season loan at the Ligue 1 team before joining up with his new team-mates this summer.
But the 20-year-old has made just two appearances for the club so far and failed to make the 18-man squad for their 1-1 draw against Norwich.
And according to reports in Belgium, Origi could depart Anfield for another loan spell when the January transfer window opens.
Daily newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws say Daniel Sturridge's return to fitness is a reason for Liverpool's willingness to let Origi go.
The report adds Turkish side Fenerbahce were interested in signing Origi in the summer.
