Barcelona star is 'categorically' considering Manchester United switch

Neymar would be open to joining Manchester United in the future

NEYMAR is will consider joining Manchester United in the future, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

 

The Barcelona striker revealed he held talks with the club in the summer but never received a concrete offer.

 

While Balague insists the 23-year-old would be open to a switch, he doesn't believe it will happen in the near future.

When asked by Sky Sports if he would move he said:  "Categorically, no.

 

Neymar feels he will never be the best player at the club while Lionel Messi is there

"Is he considering doing so in the future? Categorically, yes. 

"It is going to be the saga of the next 12 months or more -his new contract with Barcelona. FCB want him to sign it now, he is not in a rush."

"Why? I think he feels he will not be the best player in the world while at Barcelona, with Messi leading the team. 

"So he has to decide if he stays and waits for Messi to move on, or goes to a team that will build around him. So keep an eye on this."

 

Balague had previously claimed the Brazilian would like to leave the Nou Camp because he wants to be the world's best player.

It is claimed Neymar feels he will never achieve that while at the same club as Lionel Messi.
