Jack Wilshere's Arsenal career has been plagued by injuries |
ARSENAL midfielder Jack Wilshere has prompted the birth of a questionable trend on Twitter after his latest injury setback.
Wilshere requires surgery on a broken leg and is set to be out for three months.
The England international broke a fibula in August but was expected to return after the recent international break.
However, the latest setback follows a long line of injury blows for the 23-year-old, who has been plagued with bad luck during his relatively short career.
And fans have reacted with a tongue take on the matter, by starting the "Jack Wheelchair" trend on social media.

Supporters mocked up pictures of Wilshere's No.10 jersey on a wheelchair as the news broke prior to their Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb tonight.
One fan claimed he was weaker than Chelsea's title defence as the London rivals prepare for battle in the Premier League this weekend.
The Gunners faithful appear to be fed up with the ordeal and made comparisons with former players such as Abou Diaby, who suffered similar problems in north London.
Here's how Twitter reacted to the news.
