Anthony Martial: I can be a Man United star even if Wayne Rooney doesn't know who I am
ANTHONY MARTIAL admits it's normal for Wayne Rooney to be oblivious of him - but insists he can be a star in the Premier League.

Martial completed his move to United yesterday for an initial £36million, rising to £58m with add-ons.

The 19-year-old becomes the third most expensive player in United's history and the most expensive teenager of all time.

But he admits, playing in Ligue 1, that he has been under the radar until now.
"It's normal that Wayne Rooney doesn't know me. I've played a lot in Ligue 1 but I'm happy to go there. He's a big player and next to him I'll improve my game a lot," he said.
But the France under-21 star who was called into Didier Deschamps' side for the first time this month, is adamant he can mix it in the Premier League.
He added: "Since I was young, people have told me I have the right characteristics to play in England. I'm really keen to develop my game in the English league and prove my worth."
