… And the Best Smartphone of 2015 is NOT the Apple iPhone
Gadget magazine T3 has announced their favourite technology products from the last 12 months
THE PRESTIGIOUS T3 Awards have announced their favourite gadgets of the year. Although, Apple left with four gongs, the US firm missed out on the coveted Phone of the Year award.

Gadget magazine T3 has named the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge as the Best Smartphone of 2016, by awarding it Phone of the Year tonight at the ninth annual T3 Awards
The flagship Samsung smartphone hit the UK earlier this year and has been showered in praise ever since.
With the Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung ditched its trademark plastic-but-detachable rear case in favour of a sleek, svelte all-metal design.
The flagship Samsung handset sports a curved 5.1inch Quad HD display, speedy 2.1GHz processor and sharp 16 megapixel rear camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was named Phone of the Year

Monthly technology magazine T3 honoured the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with its Phone of the Year award ahead of the Apple iPhone 6s, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, the LG G4 and the HTC One M9.
Android rival HTC won the award for the last two years. But technology giant Apple were the biggest winners of the night.
The Cupertino firm picked up a total of four awards during the evening, including Brand of the Year.
Apple's iPad Air 2, which was not updated this year during Apple's recent press event, was also named Laptop or Tablet of the Year.

And the US firm's latest device, the Apple Watch picked up two awards, including Wearable Technology of the Year and the gadget magazine's main award, Gadget of the Year.
The Apple Watch marks the company's first new device category since the iPad, first released back in 2010.
Apple has yet to reveal how many Watches it has sold since the device launched back in March, but its clear the wearable device has already had a big impact on the product category.

The high-tech, high-style combination allowed the Apple Watch to nab the Gadget of the Year award
Rob Carney, Editor of T3, felt it a worthy winner of the coveted Gadget of the Year, and told Express.co.uk, "Once again Apple have produced a product that has galvanised a market.
"In a year of outstanding new products, this stood out to all of the judges and voting public as the outstanding tech of 2015.
"The tech and fashion media have nothing in common, yet both enthused about Apple Watch.
"That says it all about this high style, high tech, highly personal device.
"It’s a worthy winner of the 2015 Gadget of the Year."
