Arsenal and Liverpool have been alerted to reports Lazio striker Keita Balde Diao has handed in a transfer request.

The two clubs are reportedly keen suitors of Ketia, who joined Lazio from Barcelona's academy two years ago.

 

The 20-year-old was left out of Lazio's Italian Super Cup clash with Juventus in Shanghai at the weekend, after which he demanded to be sold, claim Corriere dello Sport.

Liverpool were keen on the £10.6million player earlier this summer, who Arsenal have been linked to in the past, report Football Italia.

And the Premier League duo are both expected to make bids if Lazio accept that request.

 

Manchester United are understood to be seeking three more signings before the end of the transfer window.

Manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly ready to spend a staggering £79.5m before September to take his overall outlay at Old Trafford to over £300m in a year.

Barcelona winger Pedro is expected to complete a £22m deal later this month, with the Mirror claiming Tottenham's £40m man Harry Kane will follow suit.

United have made "discreet enquiries" into Kane's availability, say the Mirror, while the Sun report United officials as trying to capture Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia for £17.5m.

 

Leeds United are in talks with Tottenham youngster Milos Veljkovic over a transfer.

Manager Uwe Rosler is seeking new recruits ahead of deadline day as Championship side Leeds prepare for a promotion push this season.

Veljkovic, 19, will arrive on loan at the West Yorkshire club, HITC report.

The midfielder, who can also play in defence, joined Spurs from Basel in 2011 but has made just three senior appearances for the White Hart Lane since.
