Alexis Sanchez returns to Arsenal's starting line-up after being consigned to a cameo appearance fromm the bench against West Ham last week.
The Chilean will add some much-needed firepower and width to a Gunners attack that was heavily criticised for being too narrow in defeat to the Hammers.
He replaces Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, who drops to the bench while Mathieu Debuchy is out in favour of Hector Bellerin.
Olivier Giroud is also preferred to Theo Walcott to lead the line.
Crystal Palace make two changes, with Connor Wickham and Yannick Bolasie in from the start.
Yohan Cabaye is set to go up against the side who should have signed him in the summer, according to Alan Pardew.
