Sheffield Wednesday hijack £3m Leeds United transfer after announcing done deal
Sheffield Wednesday have made a rival offer for Leeds United target Fernando Forestieri
SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY have ramped up their transfer efforts as deadline day approaches.

The Owls today confirmed the arrival of defender Michael Turner on loan from Norwich City.
The deal comes after it emerged they have reportedly made a rival bid to Leeds United's for Watford striker Fernando Forestieri.

Watford are willing to let Forestieri go for around £3million but the player has so far delayed Leeds' contract offer.
It is understood he is not too keen to join the West Yorkshire club and has stalled on a decision.

According to the Sun, Wednesday have swooped in with a bid themselves as manager Carlos Carvalhal seeks new recruits ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The manager has already brought in 12 new players this summer, six from abroad, including Turner.

Former Hull City and Sunderland centre-half Turner may go straight into the first team for Wednesday's Championship clash with Middlesbrough this Saturday.
The 31-year-old was sent on loan to Fulham at the end of last season and missed Norwich's promotion push to the Premier League.
