Real Madrid 'in advanced talks' after bid of £25m accepted for Liverpool midfield target
Mateo Kovacic is reported to be a target for Real Madrid and Liverpool
REAL MADRID are "in advanced talks" with Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic, according to reports in Italy.

Liverpool have been linked with the Croatia star but the Spanish giants could now be the frontrunners after Inter granted permission for them to hold talks.
Sky Italia reporter Fabrizio Romano broke the news on Twitter, while the Daily Telegraph claim Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is also keen on a deal.

"Advanced talks between Inter and Real Madrid for Mateo Kovacic," Romano said.
The 21-year-old is highly sought-after following two successful seasons in Serie A.

Inter splashed more than £10million to sign him from Dinamo Zagreb in 2013 and Madrid could now willing to pay closer to £25m.
Kovacic made 35 Serie A appearances last season, scoring five goals.

A Croatia international, he has been capped 21 times by his country and scored once.
He started his career in Zagreb and came to the attention of Europe's top clubs after becoming the club's youngest ever captain and leading them to two domestic league titles and two Croatian Cups.
