Real Madrid star Isco is reported to be a top target for Juventus |
JUVENTUS are eyeing Real Madrid star Isco as a replacement for Arturo Vidal, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper La Repubblica claim the Italian giants are willing to pay £28.4million to tempt him away from the Bernabeu.
Both Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with the 23-year-old, with Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini though to be huge admirers.
Pellegrini has previously worked with him at Malaga.
But the reigning Serie A champions have been mooted as potential suitors for a host of Europe's leading attacking midfielders and appear intent on adding some new faces this summer.
As well as Isco, Juve have been credited with interest in Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze, Schalke youngster Julian Draxler and Chelsea's Brazilian playmaker Oscar.
But reports suggest the Spain international is now their top target.
The news could prompt either Premier League club into a move and Mourinho is believed to be extremely keen to bring in some new players.
Reports claim he is frustrated at a lack of summer signings and was previously thought to have instructed the board to get a deal done for Isco.
Some have even gone so far as claim he is unhappy at the club - because of fears they are stagnating - and could move to PSG at the end of this season.
