Pedro is expected to join Manchester United this week |
MANCHESTER UNITED have three days to settle Pedro's transfer from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Barcelona winger is understood to have agreed personal terms with United representatives today.
But United and Barca are still discussing how the player's £22million transfer fee will be provided.
Negotiations over whether United will pay in instalments or offer an up-front fee are said to be ongoing.
And, while Pedro is hopeful the deal can be concluded today, Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim the player won't wait for ever for United to secure the switch.
According to the paper, Pedro has given United a 72-hour window to come to an agreement with Barca.
The Spain international started for the Nou Camp club in both legs of their Spanish Super Cup defeat to Athletic Bilbao this month - although he was subbed off in both ties.
He is expected to become United's sixth signing of the summer when he pens his new contract, while the club are also seeking to secure defender Nicolas Otamendi's arrival from Valencia.
Otamendi, 27, is also wanted by Manchester City, who are reportedly preparing a £35m bid to trigger the centre-half's release clause and scupper United's plans.
