Mario Balotelli: Why I quit Liverpool for Milan loan deal
Mario Balotelli says he always wanted to return to Milan
MARIO BALOTELLI has revealed he always wanted to rejoin Milan and says he is motivated to succeed at the San Siro after completing a medical today.

The Liverpool striker is set to leave Anfield on a season-long loan, with the transfer all but confirmed.
He will rejoin the club who sold him for £16million this time last summer.

And the Italy international, 25, says he is fit to play.
“I'm happy to be back, now I’m only waiting to start training,” he said.

“Physically I feel pretty good, I just have to train with the team. I have so much motivation.
“Did I imagine returning to Milan? Yes, I always had Milan in my heart and I always hoped to come back.
“Will I finish my career at Milan? I have to work hard and do well this year, then I'll think about that."

Balotelli could start Milan's clash against Empoli this weekend if the loan deal is, as expected, signed off today.
As part of the agreement, Liverpool will pay half of the former Manchester City and Inter forward's £80,000-a-week wages during the loan spell.
